To Your Eternity Synopsis

The story begins with an orb that is cast onto the Earth by a mysterious otherworldly being known as the Beholder. This orb has the ability to take on the form of recently deceased beings, and it returns to life immediately after dying.

The orb first takes the form of a rock, then a dying arctic wolf. The wolf is found by a white-haired boy living alone, and the boy mistakes the wolf for his pet wolf, Joaan. After the boy dies, the orb takes his form.

The orb, now in the form of the boy, travels to the land of Ninannah, and meets a young girl called March, who was chosen as a sacrifice to a large white bear named Oniguma.

March names the boy Fushi and teaches him the rudiments of speech, and how to use his hands. Fushi and March become close friends, and they travel together through Ninannah.

However, their journey is not without its challenges. Fushi is hunted by Hayase, a warrior who is obsessed with having him for herself. Fushi also witnesses the death of many people, including March. Each time Fushi dies, he takes on a new form, and he gradually learns what it means to be human.
